Example of the use for unlock sims
For an example of the uses for the 845Electronics Unlock sim:
You bought a device from a carrier like AT&T instead of Apple directly. The phone will have a locked activation policy to that original carrier being AT&T. So this device will only work on AT&Ts activation policy and or MVNO networks that use AT&Ts network. This limits your devices uses great if you plan on switching carriers or traveling internationally. Any SIM card inserted from another carrier for ex. T-Mobile will display a "Sim not supported" activation screen. This screen will pop up with any SIM card other than a ATT network SIM card. Rendering your device useless internationally or state side if you plan on switching to another carrier.

HOW ARE 845ELECTRONICS UNLOCK SIMS USED?
As shown in the video above the unlock sim uses adhesive to secure attach to your SIM card. Once the unlock sim and your active carrier SIM card are together it just needs to be inserted into the iPhone and ICCID number changed (ICCID number is the unique sim identification number for all SIM cards). DETAILED WRITTEN STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING 845ELECTRONICS UNLOCK SIM
1-REMOVE UNLOCK SIM FROM MYLAR PACKAGE
2-FIND YOUR ACTIVE SIM CARD (The SIM card you wish to use on your current locked phone)
3-Remove yellow adhesive cover to reveal adhesive strip to attach your "active SIM card" in step 2
4- Align your active SIM card and the unlock sim with the slightly cut off corner on both the unlock sim card the active sim (Ensure the adhesive side is secure attached and properly aligned with the metal side of your active SIM card)
5- Eject SIM card tray from iPhone.
6- Align now attached SIM card and unlocked sim into your SIM card tray from your iPhone. (Some models have the sim facing upside down and some dont. This can be indicated by the direction of the small cut off corner on the SIM card tray) (The adhesive helps with all applications even if your SIM card tray is a model that has a upside down tray)
7- Once your unlock sim and active SIM card are both together and properly installed in the SIM card tray now reinsert the tray back into the phone careful to not jam the tray or have the unlock sim fall off the active SIM card if not properly secured.
8- With the tray reinserted the "Hello, activation screen" will now pop up. Around the same time the activation screen pops up you will also get a pop up menu with a few options to pick. Only select and edit the first selection (EDIT ICCID).
9- Select (EDIT ICCID) and enter the latest 20 digit ICCID Code found here https://845Electronics.com/ICCID. There you will find the last 5 latest and working ICCID codes (You can select and enter any of the 5 codes).
10- Once you have typed in the 20 digit ICCID code verify its correct and click "SEND" Followed by "Accept". (This will change ICCID code and allow your device to continue to be fully activated)
11- Follow up and continue activation until back on the Home Screen! Within seconds your device will receive service and be fully unlocked. The phone is now ready for use on its changed carrier.

Update to the latest IOS
Try another ICCID
TO REGAIN POP UP MENU TO EDIT ICCID AFTER ENTERING OLD OR WRONG ICCID FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS
-Remove the Unlock Chip from the target sim card (The sim card you are looking to use once your device is unlock
-Then apply the unlock chip to a new, used, active or inactive sim card (any different sim sim card besides your TARGET SIM CARD).
-Insert the new sim card and unlock chip and the pop up menu will return
A SECOND OPTION TO REGAIN THE POP UP MENU
-Insert your target sim card and unlock chip into a factory unlocked phone
-A factory unlocked phone will not prompt the "HELLO" activation menu
-Go to Settings> Cellular> Sim Application.
-Under sim applications you will see "EDIT ICCID"
-Edit to the latest working ICCID and return your target sim card into your carrier locked device and proceed to activate the phone with the new ICCID already entered into the unlock sim.
(THIS METHOD WILL WORK ALSO ON A CARRIER LOCKED DEVICE WITH THE ORIGINAL CARRIER LOCKED SIM CARD FOR THE DEVICES ACTIVATION POLICY)
